सनातन धर्म में जिन सप्तपुरियों का वर्णन है उनमें मथुरा भगवान श्री कृष्ण तथा राधाजी कि बाललीला भूमि होने के कारण प्रसिद्व है। मथुरा से थोडी दूर पर ही नन्दगांव,बरसाना,गोकुल आदि प्राचीन मन्दिर हैं। बृन्दावन में बिडला मन्दिर हरे राम हरे कृष्णा का मन्दिर ,रामानुजाचार्य मन्दिर तथा बिहारी जी का मन्दिर आदि दर्शनार्थियों के चहल-पहल के केन्द्र बन गये है। देश-विदेश के लोग यहां रहकर दर्शन करते रहते हैं।

मथुरा में जैन मन्दिर और पुरातत्व संग्राहालय भी प्राचीन काल के महत्व पर ऐतिहासिक परिचय देते है। यहां के लोकगीतों में रसिया और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों में रहस्यलीला कि अपनी विशेषता है। बृजभाषा कि मिठास खुरचन,रबडी और पेडेां कि तरह कि तरह याद आने वाली है। लला फिर आइयो खेलन होरी के द्वारा आज भी होली का दृश्य बहुत ही मनोहर होता है।

मथुरा में द्वारिकाधीश जी का मन्दिर और अनेक छोटे मन्दिरों में दर्शन पंडों कि खरीदी गई मेहरवानी से ही हो सकते है। दोस्तो आप अगर घूमने का प्लान बना रहै है तो आप मथुरा जी जरूर जाइये सबसे अच्छा समय यहां पर घूमने का होली के बीस दिन पहले का है होली के बीस दिन पहले अगर आप जाते है तो देखना आप अपनी पूरी जिदंगी इन पलो को भूल नही पायेगे। अगर आप अपनी फैमिली के साथ है तो आनन्द चार गुना हो जायेगा आप अपनी गर्ल फ्रेंड  को भी ले जा सकते है। बहुत सुन्दर स्थान है। मैने और भी सुन्दर-सुन्दर स्थानों के बारे में बता रखा है। अपनी प्रतिक्रिया जरूर दे।
