जिस-जिस ग्रन्थ में भगवान राम कि गाथा गायी है वहंा-वहां अयोध्या नगरी का नाम अवश्य ही आया है। यहां कि सडकों ,राजप्रसादों,जनसामान्य के अवासीय भवनों,उद्यानों,सैन्य शिविरों बाजारों आदि का रोचक वर्णन रामायण में किया गया है। तैतरीय अरण्यक में अयोध्या नगर को आध्यात्मिक नगर के रूप में वर्णित करता है। बाल्मिकि ने तो रामायण में इस नगर कि सुन्दरता एवं विस्तार के बारे में पर्याप्त विवेचन किया है।

महाभारत में भीम ने पूर्वी देशों कि दिग्विजय के क्रम में अयोध्या को जीता था। कालिदास ने रधुवंश के 16 वें सर्ग में अयोध्या को गाया था। बौद्व साहित्य में साकेत एवं अयोध्या का नाम साथ-साथ मिलता है।

चन्द्रगुप्त काल में अयोध्या गुप्त साम्राज्य कि राजधानी थी। 

चित्रकूट

दोस्तो चित्रकूट यहां जब आप घूमने जायेगे तो आपको एक बेहतरीन आनन्द का अनुभव करेगे अगर आप भारत घूमने आये हैं तो चित्रकूट जरूर घूमियेगा।

यहां आप मंदाकिनी में स्नान ,कामानाथ कि परिक्रमा,हनुमान धारा, जानकी कुन्ड और भी बहुत कुछ है दोस्तो यहां पर भगवान राम ने बारह साल बिताये इसका वर्णन करना इतना आसान नही है।

भगवान राम से संबंधित ग्रन्थों में चित्रकूट को विशिष्ट रूप से वर्णित किया है। यह वर्णन बाल्मिकि रामायण तथा तुलसीदास द्वारा रचित रामचरित मानस में भलिभांति स्पष्ट है। यहां के पर्वतों कि शोभा कलकल नदियों के स्वच्छ जल कि मनोरमता, वनश्री कि अपूर्वता एवं पक्षियों कि सुन्दरता का साहित्य में मुख्य रूप से वर्णित है। श्री मदभागवत कि जो श्रृंखला गिनायी जाती है। उसमें गोवर्धन पर्वत तथा चित्रकूट का नाम अंकित है। वर्तमान में यह तीर्थ उत्तर प्रदेश के बांदा जिले में स्थित है।

The book in which the saga of Lord Rama is sung - the name of the city of Ayodhya must have come there. Here roads, Rajprasadas, public buildings, gardens, military camps, markets, etc. are interestingly described in the Ramayana. Taittariya describes the city of Ayodhya as a spiritual city in Aranyak. Balmiki has given enough discussion about the beauty and expansion of this city in Ramayana.

In the Mahabharata, Bhima won Ayodhya in the order of Digvijay of the eastern countries. Kalidasa sang Ayodhya in the 16th canto of Radhuvansh. Saket and Ayodhya are named together in Buddhist literature.

Ayodhya was the capital of the Gupta Empire in the Chandragupta period.

Here you have a bath in Mandakini, Parikrama of Kamanath, Hanuman Dhara, Janaki Kund and much more Friends, Lord Ram spent twelve years here, it is not easy to describe it.

Chitrakoot

Chitrakoot has been uniquely described in the texts related to Lord Rama. This description is well-known in the Ramcharit Manas composed by Balmiki Ramayana and Tulsidas. The beauty of the fresh water of the Kalkal rivers, the beauty of the vanasri and the beauty of the birds are mainly mentioned in the literature. The series which is counted by Mr. Madhagwat. The name of Govardhan Parvat and Chitrakoot is mentioned in it. Presently this shrine is located in Banda district of Uttar Pradesh.
