अन्तिम मुगल बादशाह बहादुर शाह जफर
अंतिम मुगल बादशाह बहादुर शाह जफर के दिल में हर बक्त अपने वतन कि माटी के लिये तड़प बनी रहती थी। अंग्रेजों ने उन्हे देश निकाला दे दिया लेकिन उन्होने अपनी जान बख्श देने के लिये समझौता नहीं किया। अंग्रेजों को चेतावनी देते हुए उन्होने कहा था हिंदियों में बू रहेगी जब तलक ईमान की तख्त ए लंदन तक चलेगी तेग हिंदुस्तान कि उनकी चेतावनी सही साबित हुई और आाजादी के मतवाले स्वतंत्रता मिलने तक लगातार अपने प्राणेंा कि आहुति देते रहें बर्मा कि राजधानी रंगून मे जब वह अपने जीवन के अंतिम दौर मे थे तब वतन कि याद में तडपते हुए उनके लफजों से निकल पडा कितना है बनसीब जफर दफन के लिये दो गज जमीन भी न मिली कुए यार में उनका जन्म 24 अक्टूवर 1775 को दिल्ली में हुआ था वह अपने पिता अकबर द्वितीय के मौत के बाद 28 सितम्बर 1838 को बादशाह बने । उनकी मां ललबाई हिन्दू परिवार से थी। 1857 में जब आजादी कि चिंगारी भडकि भी विद्रोही सैनिको और राजाओं ने उन्हे सम्राट माना और उनके नेतृत्व में अंग्रेजों कि ईट से ईट बजा डाली ।
भारतीयों ने देश के अनेक हिस्ससों में अजादी कि पहली लडाई में अंग्रेजो को मात दी अंग्रेज छल-कपट से इस कृान्ति को दवाने मे कामयाब रहे। जफर ने हुंमायू के मकबरे में शरण ली लेकिन मेजर हडसन ने उन्हे उनके बेटे मिर्जा मुगल ,खिजर सुल्तान और पोते अबू बकर के साथ पकड लिया ।अंग्रेजो ने जुल्म कि हदें पार कर दी। जफर को जब भूख लगी तो वे थाली में उनके बेटो के सिर ले आये वह सिर्फ देशभक्त बादशाह ही नहीं बल्कि उर्दू के मसहूर कवि भी थे। उन्होने बहुत सी कवितायें लिखी जिसमें अधिकतर 1857 के दौरान मची उथला पुथली में या तो खो गयी या फिर नष्ट हो गयी मुल्क से अंगे्रजों को भगाने का ख्वाव लिये 7 नबम्बर 1862 को 87 साल कि उम्र में उनका निधन हो गया लेकिन वक्त ने उन्हे दूसरे मुल्क मे मरने को मजबूर किया। उन्हे रंगून में श्वेडागौन पैगोडा के नजदीक दफनाया गया । जिसे अब जफर दरगााह के नाम से जानते है। भारत में कई सडके उनके नाम पर है। लाहौर में भी उनके नाम से सडक है। बाग्लादेश में भी एक पार्क बहादुरशाह जफर के नाम से जाना जाता है।

Last Mughal Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar

Zafar took refuge in Humayun's tomb but Major Hudson caught him along with his son Mirza Mughal, Khizar Sultan and grandson Abu Bakar. The English crossed the limits of oppression. When Zafar got hungry, he brought his son's head in the plate, he was not only a patriot king but also a poet of Urdu. He wrote a number of poems in which most of them were either lost or destroyed in shallow potholes during 1857. He died on 7 November 1862 at the age of 87, but the time left him in the second country. I was forced to die. He was buried near the Shvedagon Pagoda in Rangoon. Which is now known as Zafar Dargah. Many roads in India are named after him. There is a road to his name in Lahore too. There is also a park in Bangladesh known as Bahadur Shah Zafar.
